-Travelling-
It is always exhilarating to be travelling. Well for me at least. Not that I was that excited at 6.20am on a Saturday morning.
Nevertheless I must say it was a very fruitful trip for Merlin and I. We literally shopped till we dropped! The casualness and relaxed pace of the trip really made for a more relaxing holiday as compared to Taiwan (too frentic) or Beijing (bad tour guide).
Bought really a lot of clothes. Hm but this time the trip was more upmarket. Hee..Different company makes for different expenditure patterns. HK is indeed a city that is the best place for shopping with its value for money. Ok not that stuff is cheap but the item lasts (I'm still wearing some of the clothes I bought 3 years ago from HK).
The only scare was Merlin getting food poisioning. At 5.30am on Monday she was vomitting and having diarrhoea till the doctor we called in to the hotel room gave her a jab. That was truly nightmarish.
I must say I really enjoy travelling. Was meeting a friend on Wednesday and he mentioned he had just been to Hokkaido. The freshness of the food coupled with the mesmerising scenery really left an indelible mark in his impression.
I have visions too but not of Hokkaido. It is not on my list of must-visit cities. My next target is Paris. To saunter along the rues, visiting Laduree or Pierre Hermes' patisserie, ah..there would be pure bliss. To nibble on a macaroon while basking in the last rays of the afternoon sun with a light autumnal breeze blowing. Hm must stop fantasing.
Other places I would want to go would of course be the Louis Vuitton boutique and not to mention the Lourve. Hm it is only June and I am dreaming about my next vacation. Ah...if only I can be a full time housewife with someone giving me my keep. LOL....then I can travel all I want.
